Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited inside and outside the campus. Our institution takes a stern stance against ragging, and offenders will face severe consequences, including:

• Suspension from the hostel/college
• Withdrawal from the institution
• Criminal proceedings as per the Supreme Court of India’s guidelines

Definition of Student Ragging

Any behavior that includes:

• Physical abuse
• Lewd acts
• Teasing
• Rough or rude treatment
• Rowdy, undisciplined, and obscene activities
• Causing annoyance, undue hardship, physical or psychological harm, or mental trauma
• Raising apprehension or fear in a fresher/junior student or other students
• Forcing a student to do any act against their will, causing shame, embarrassment, or danger to their life
• Adversely affecting the physique or psyche of a fresher or junior student

Anti-Ragging Actions

To prevent and address ragging, our institution:

1. Conducts anti-ragging workshops and seminars for students, faculty, and staff
2. Establishes an Anti-Ragging Committee to monitor and investigate ragging incidents
3. Maintains a confidential reporting system for victims to report ragging incidents
4. Ensures prompt and strict action against offenders
5. Provides counseling and support services for victims of ragging
6. Organizes orientation programs for freshers to familiarize them with the campus environment and anti-ragging policies
7. Displays anti-ragging posters and banners across the campus
8. Includes anti-ragging clauses in the admission form and student handbook
